The Commissioning Support Programme offers flexible support to local authorities and their partner organisations as they confront the challenges of improving and redesigning services. Reduced budgets and changing structures all present a challenge to effective delivery of public services – we have extensive experience of working with leading commissioners to confront those challenges while still focusing on improving outcomes for service users.
As well as bespoke support to individual local authority areas, we have developed a comprehensive training programme and high-value resources that you can access for free in the Commissioners' Kitbag. To find out the latest about the Programme or to comment on this site then join our facebook page and follow us on twitter.
The Commissioners' KitbagThe Commissioners' Kitbag brings together resources developed by CSP since it was created. There are general and-service specific documents and tools as well as an extensive directory of good practice
The Department for Education has published the independent evaluation of CSP's work since November 2008. The report sets out the achievements of CSP, working in partnership with commissioners in local authority areas and achieved against a backdrop of significant budget cuts and a changing policy landscape.
