Hello! Welcome to my profile!
I'm working on the Commissioning Support Programme, focusing on the development of this website to enable better knowledge sharing, collaboration and networking within and between Children's Trusts.
I'm really interested to meet others working for Children's Trusts.
My ambition is that others will add value to this website by making positive contributions and looking beyond the boundaries and limitations of organisations we work in to seek support in a wider community.
As we all are working to create better outcomes for children, young people and their families, I hope that you will find this website of use to you, as we can really create value from cooperating in a new way, a way which we are not really used to, which can help open up doors and help us all improve what we are doing.
I can be contacted through the website or on:
email: murad.kemal@commissioningsupport.org.uk
tel: 07904 586 369
I'm really interested to hear your views and feedback on the website and what you feel could be improved or extended, what you like, dislike etc. Your feedback will be taken into consideration and can make a positive contribution to all users of the website.
Please sign up to a CSP website user session on 10th July.
http://www.commissioningsupport.org.uk/news__events/events/10_july_2009.aspx
This is a free and open event for anyone that wishes to participate in a feedback session on the CSP website. We would appreciate and value your input into making the CSP website as good as possible for the communities, organisation and groups that you represent. The key objective is to get some feedback on how the site helps you fulfill your goals, how easy is it to use and what would make it better. Please do sign up and come along, there are limited places, first come first served.
Many thanks in anticipation,
Murad Kemal
Commissioning Support Programme
Dear everybody,
Just wanted to drop a short announcement to let you all know about the integrated features of the site and why it is good to edit your profile biography and build your network.
When in your profile, click "Edit your profile" to add some information about yourself. This is integrated into the site-wide search tool, so whatever keywords people use to search for, your profile may come up in relevant searches which would be useful to allow people to get in touch with you.
Also, use the "People Finder" tool to find all those working in the same role, regions, Children's Trusts or even those who are interested in the same areas as you. You can find them using this tool, then browse other's profiles to click on the link to connect with them. Once you are connected, there are a host of collaboration tools that can be used. Why not try sharing a question with your peers, seeking opinions, find out what others are doing, let others know what you are doing, use "Peer review content" to collaboratively edit content (bit like Wikipedia).
Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions about how to use the website.
Best wishes
PS - here is a great talk on why we should collaborate!

Are there some simple guidelines for group owners? Just to help people set groups up and configure them correctly?
