Usha works for the Institute of Public Care, Oxford Brookes University as a Senior Consultant on a range of projects including supporting local authorities with the transformation agenda and developing good practice in the design of integrated care services and infrastructure.
Prior to joining IPC, Usha worked as a policy and research consultant in health and education where she completed numerous projects on behalf of clients such as the Department of Education and Skills (now the Department for Children, Schools and Families), the National College for School Leadership, the Welsh Assembly Government, Careers Wales and The National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare in Wales as well as the Welsh European Funding Office. Her projects covered a wide range of areas including partnership development, youth justice interventions, improving clinical engagement with GPs, and several evaluation studies and impact assessments.
