In Control are a social enterprise who support local authorities to deliver self directed support. The website contains a range of materials including ‘A whole life approach to personalisation – self directed support for every child and young person’ (2008).

Valuing People website

This website is for people with learning disabilities, family carers, learning disability partnership boards, regional programme boards, self-advocacy groups, front line professionals, managers and anyone who works with, or comes into contact with, people with learning disabilities. It tells you about the Valuing People Now Programme and provides information and resources relating to work that is going on nationally.

Better Outcomes for Children in Need: A national development programme for Wales website

The Better Outcomes for Children in Need (BOCIN) programme was undertaken in local authorities in 2007 and 2008, and was sponsored by the Social Services Improvement Agency for Wales. The BOCIN web pages include an on-line resource and a downloadable Resource Book.
